Meet The Team

Brian Wright.

Managing Director and Founder.
Brian served a three year apprenticeship at a London based joinery manufacturer and achieved his City and Guilds ordinary level with two distinctions and a credit. Subsequently, 37 years in the trade in both joinery and shopfitting including hands-on manufacturing, design and drawing office roles and middle management positions have led to his involvement in three businesses. Ultimately this led to Brian establishing Totally Bespoke Joinery in 2000 when moving to Medway and becoming incorporated in 2004. The company started in a shed at the bottom of the garden and has grown over the years to where it now has five employees and a turnover approaching £500,000 per annum, helped by a recent £200,000 investment in a new 4-axis C.N.C. machine, associated software together with other machinery and plant. Brian has a passion for meeting and delivering clients wishes and designs working with them to produce the drawings and on to quotation, conclusively leading to the finished project. He oversees all procedures to provide a product of the highest quality.

Allan Perkins.

Workshop Manager.
Allan served his apprenticeship and gained City and Guilds Advanced level qualifications with a substantial local joinery company called Wallis Joinery, an appointed contractor to Crown Estates and other high profile clients prior to its takeover and eventual closure in 2006. During his time at that company, he worked his way up to Supervisor with a repertoire of prestige work including a variety of projects such as Bluewater Shopping Centre, Windsor Castle, and The British Library. Allan’s role within Totally Bespoke Joinery is as Workshop Manager with a hands-on approach, utilising his knowledge and skills to the fullest in order to produce our various projects.

Adrian Nolan.

C.N.C. Operator and Programmer.
Adrian is our go-to I.T. specialist, a university graduate who has a passion for all things C.N.C. and software related. He has a variety of practical and software/machinery experience and ran his own granite and stone production business. Adrian is primarily responsible for the various software and C.N.C. related processes within the factory and assists with I.T. issues, pricing and surveys.

Stephen Carpenter.

Bench Joiner and Site Installation
Steve also worked at Wallis Joinery achieving the same apprenticeship, qualifications and supervisory role as Allan within that company. Previously working with Allan, Steve also worked on high profile projects and is a very reliable and meticulous joiner and enjoys all aspects of workshop production.

Andrew Bailey.

Bench Joiner and Site Installation
Andy has learned his trade from being hands-on within a factory environment, primarily on staircases coming from a stair manufacturing background. There is little he hasn’t done concerning stair production and installation, and he excels in a site environment.
